Lemon Baked Chicken

Ingredients:

4-6 Chicken Breasts

3 Lemons, sliced

1tbsp olive oil

Seasoning:

1tsp Paprika

1tsp Turmeric

1tsp Salt

1tsp Pepper

½ tsp Garlic Powder

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425ᵒF
  2. Slice all three lemons
  3. Add the olive oil and lemons to the bottom of your baking dish (I usually use a glass casserole dish)
  4. Mix the seasoning in a small bowl
  5. Generously coat one side of the chicken with the seasoning, then place the seasoned side in the baking pan on top on the lemon
  6. Generously coat the other side of the chicken with the seasoning.
  7. If there is leftover lemon add that to the pan either on top of the chicken or on the sides
  8. Bake for 25-30min or until the internal temp reaches 160ᵒF
  9. Remove the chicken from the oven and let rest in the pan for 10min then serve

Important Tip: Be sure to pull the chicken out of the fridge and let it come to room temp. About 45min to an hour.
